I love banded agate - such a modern-looking stone with its clean white line cutting through deep chocolate brown and black. This piece started its life as a brooch, but the pin was missing, so onto a jump ring it went. Twisted gold wire and well-matched, silvery-hued seed pearls surround the center stone.
