The Story:
I love a compass, always have. Useful little pieces of early tech, made beautiful because that's what the Victorians did with everything. I try to buy them whenever I find them. This one is unusual in size, bigger than most, and bigger than a normal watch fob, which makes me think it has always been a pendant. I wore this one almost every day for the first year of the pandemic, to remind me that I was capable of finding my way through uncharted territory.
