The Story: Chunky silver locket with rows of flowers and stars on the diagonal across the front, attached to an aluminum chain with a big bolt ring in good working order. Aluminum was discovered in 1850 and used in jewelry shortly after, prized for its light weight and resistance to tarnish. An Industrial Revolution time capsule!
